Laurence Borrel-Prat is a graduate of Robert Schumann University in Strasbourg and Jean Monnet University and has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2000.She began her career at Gide Loyrette Nouel in the economic law department where she acquired expertise in domestic and European competition law.She then became the legal director in France of the Spanish luxury group PUIG (Nina Ricci ; Paco Rabanne; Carolina Herrera).
In 2008, Laurence founded her own law firm dedicated to competition and distribution issues.
In March 2019, she was appointed as a non-permanent member of the College of the French Competition Authority. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Association des Avocats Pratiquant le Droit de la Concurrence (APDC) and of the Association Française d’Etude de la Concurrence (AFEC). Laurence regularly participates in legislative work relating to competition regulation.
